fibroidd in fundus of uterus
Hi I have a small fibroid in fundus of uterus 1.5cm - what is the best way to manage the pain.  I am50 no longer have peroids - though this explains the heavyness of them when I did have them.

This discussion is related to fibroid in the fundus.

Usually it responds well to an anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen.  Your PCP/Family Physician can also prescribe one too. This fibroid is fairly small, but can cause alot of pain and bleeding (which you do not have anymore).

A warm water bottle or pillow and hot black tea always helped me too.

I have a history with fibroids, this tends to run in families.  Every female in my immediate family has had them and has had a hysterectomy, including me.  I had 3-4 of them; can't remember exactly how many but it was more than 2.
