first scan and there was nothing there ?????

hi ladies please i would love some help im 35 and i have been taking metformin and my last period was about 6 or 7 weeks ago and i stopped taking the metformin as i ran out and i was on holidays so here comes the very weird part ..lol..i didnt get a period so instead of goin back on the metformin i took the pill like provera to bring on a period so i couls start the met and clomid together as i have pcos and then for about 4 days my breasts were tender and i thought af was on her way and then the pimples started and still no period so a week goes by and nothing so i had a dream and im pretty sure it was my mum who told me to go and buy a preg test which i did yesterday and bingo it was a very dark and straight up positive line so i went to the docs today and he did a urine and yep it was positive and he did bloods which i wont get until 2 morrow so he sent me for a ultrasound as i have had a few miscarriages in the past and she sadi there was nothing there and that it could be something else WTF ..what else could it be im so scared and 2 morrow seems like forever to get here to get the blood tests back please has anyone been in the very werid and complicated situation with a good outcome ???? also i was in hospital 3 weeks ago with very bad lower abdominal pain and the preg test they did was neg ??? so could the pain possibly be have fertilization or am i goin mad and having a phantom pregnancy ?/ please help a very stressed woman ..lol..anything at all i would love to know thanx so much in advance xxxxxxxxx
