friction burn or latex reaction after sex. help!

by dancingaround52, Nov 02, 2009 08:35PM
hey everyone,
i didnt really know where to post this question so i just posted it here. on friday night my boyfriend and i had sex but i was pretty dry. we continued anyways and saturday morning i woke up to a horrible pain! sorry for the details, but my vagina, like on the outside inner lips, was really red and dry and burned and really hurt to touch! im not sure if this is maybe a friction burn? (it was only my third time having sex and i wasn't very aroused before hand) but my friend also old me i could be having an allergic reaction to the latex or the lubrication on the condom. std's are not an option, i made my boyfriend get tested before we had sex and they came back negative and as for me, this is my first boyfriend and had not done anything with anyone else before him. this is really scaring me im in a lot of pain. when will it go away??*** and is there anything i can do to relieve the pain/ what do you think it is?
THANKS!!

I too have latex allergies and being dry is like rubbing a balloon against your skin. It hurts...
Sex should not hurt at anytime. If you are not wet enough, stop and get wetter. Bottom line if you aren't ready for intercourse, then you will hurt yourself.

Find condoms that are latex free and spermicide free as well. It may well be an allergic reaction to the spermicide. I've had these problems and usually a soak in Epsom salts make the hurt go away. But if it persists, go to see your gyno to make sure you don't have any other issues like a tipped uterus or something.

Best of luck... and take more time making out, that's really where the fun is for us anyway at least for me...
