getting pregant with one ovary

me and my husband have been trying to get pregnant now for a yr and 4months. i found out in sept 06 that i had a ovarian cyst. it was 9cm. i had my right ovary removed due to the cyst in jan 07. since then ive had 2 periods both on time. my doctor just put me on prenatal vitamins to help with that. are my chances of getting pregant better now that the cyst is gone. and how long on average does it take to get pregnat after a ovary is removed??

Yes...My best friend had an Dermoid cyst and had to have it and her ovary removed when she was 5 months preg W/ her daughter....When her daughter was 14 mon., her husband and her were trying NOT to get pregnant, and that month she did!! 9 months later she had another beautiful little girl..She was 38 years old, had 1 ovary, and managed to get preg when she was trying NOT to...you can definately get preg w/ one ovary!!
