heavy menstration

i am 36 years old and my period has changed the last 3 months my period has started out normal for first 3 days and then toward the 4th day gets really heavy, clotty and crampy this last for a bout the last 2 to 3 days

I am 36 also and noticed end of last year my cycle was changing to heavy and clotting. It Used to be a moderate no clotting,4-5 days. Now it's lasting 5-6 days. I'm guessing it has to do with getting older.

got to the dr and see what can be done you may need to go on birth control to regulate your period. he/she will run blood test to see what is going on will also do a sonogram
