heavy peeiods

I am 41 and have had very heavy periods for many years. I can go though a super tampon and a pad in an hour. I told my Dr an she wasn't concerned but I think it's making me very tired. Should I be worried?

i just posted the same thing on the forum last night. i hate my periods, and they are very few and far between. i'm 30 years old and only get periods about once a year, if that. saturday morning, i started mine after a year and freaked out because it's been non-stop. i have been to the doctor in the past about how irregular my periods are as well and have been told i have nothing to worry about since this sort of thing runs in my family, and all my tests came back okay that they did at the time.

but what i don't like, is the fact that i am MUCH heavier at night than i am during the day. i'm wondering, does this happen to either of you as well?

It happens to me also and I'm 37. I think it's our hormones. Try eating iron rich foods
