It would not hurt for you to go see a gyno since you are sexually active. Are you using barrier birth controlControl Control rx (condomsCondoms Female condoms) or just the pill? If it's barrier, the chances of you having an STD are vastly reduced. But if you have not had that protection, you could have picked something up from your partner, not necessarily v.d. but maybe a bacterial infection. I would go ahead and see a doc. I don't know the closest medical clinic, but you could phone your local Planned Parenthood and see who they recommend (if not themselves).
