I am just 4 weeks pregnant. I got pregnant while taking clomid. I had a blood test yesterday where my HCG was 90 and my progesterone was 115. I have had 2 miscariiages, then my dughter, and another miscarriage in feb. 07, so I am very nervous. Should I be worried about the progesterone level?
Progesterone helps support the pregnancy (thick uterine lining). I am going in this morning for a blood pregnancy test. My period is due today (not here), and my doctor's office called the other day because my progesterone at day 21 was already in the 90's. They think I'm either pregnant or have cysts from the overstimulation of the ovaries from Clomid. From what I've found so far, a high progesterone level early in pregnancy, especially in the presence of fertility drugs, could mean multiples. Let me know what you find out, and good luck to you.
