I am 13 days late.  I never thought I could be pregnant until my period was late.  I don't care one way or the other.  If I am not, I need to know what is wrong.  Early menopause runs in my family (I am only 23) and my mom had female problems when she was my age.  I have miscarried once and I just need to know if I am pregnant or not so that I can take care of myself.  I have taken 3 and they said no, but then I see all of these stories about women not finding out until late.  I am trying not to stress, but it is hard.  I think that stuff about stress making it late is a load of ****.  I can understand if you stress before ovulation, but once you ovulate, you cannot stop your period.  You have the same luteal phase regardless of when you ovulate.  I need advice.  I have a dr. appointment next Monday, but that is a week.  I am having light cramps, but there is not the slightest sign of a period.  I have been feeling a little nausea today.  I have some of the same symptoms that I had last time I was preg and I really just want to know so that I can either prepare or move on.  Any advice?

Again, I know the subject matter is a little icky but I'm just sharing my experience. After my husband and I BD, whether I'm ovulating or not, his uh, secretions leak out after a day or two. It looks almost exactly like EWCM. Very confusing. It makes it very tough to depend on cervical mucus to determine ovulation days. Better to figure out your cycle and either chart temps or use ovulation predictor kits. And although some women disagree, there is really no way of knowing if you're pregnant till around the time AF is supposed to visit, or just a few days prior to that. Good luck, though.

I'll try to remember from the last ttc website I visited:
beginning of cycle= no cervical mucus or very little and quite dry; then creamy and white-ish;  mid-cycle (ovulation)= egg white CM, stretchy and slippery like egg whites; then before AF it turns back to white and creamy, but still a little stringy (gross, I know); then AF.

do you think i cought my ovulation day then?
as had unprotected sex 8th then 9th it was white colour then 10th it was clear and stringy sortta like egg white (clear and sticky and can stretch)?
I know sperm can live 3-6 days in side some ones body.
My period should be due 24th- 25th this month if my calculations are right.
