by NKINBK_22, May 31, 2006 12:00AM
I found out i was pregnant 3 weeks ago. when they did a sonogram they saw nothing my hcg levels was 528. 2 days later it was 740. I have no pains, cramping, or spoting could i still have a normal pregnancy? I was also told that not until my hcg level goes above 1500 will they be able to see anything on the sonogram is this true?

Yeah its true an U/S will not show anything til hcg reaches 1500 or more. I think you should wait a week do another blood test and then go for an U/S. I am in the same boat low hcg I had an U/s when hcg was around 8000 even then they could only see a sac no fetal pole, I have another U/S next week to find out more. Good luck. PS: You can have a perfectly healthy preg and baby with low Hcg's. Do u have any other symptoms? tender breast, freq urination nausea etc? Good luck. You can see my post under this forum "mornig sickness confusion"

I am kind of in the same bout about a week ago i took a HPT and it came out postive. I went to the hospital they said i was positive..then this past sunday i took a HCG test and today i had an u/s. They didn't find anything in the u/s and my HCG level was 63,I had spotting for one day so iam worried i miscarried or could it just be that early in my pregnancy?

Any advice?
