humm? simple question.

So I don't start my plecebo (sp?) pills til sunday and i'm having breakthrough bleeding. Should I be worried?  I haven't missed any pills. I also have been very stressed this past week. My guess is the stress...what do you think?

Have you been taking these pills for awhile or have you started them recently?  If you have been taking them for 3 months or less than it should be fine.  I know when I started the nuva ring, I had breakthrough bleeding the first month and then none after that.  If you are concerned call your doctors office.

If you're sure you don't have any STD's, then the breakthrough bleeding is probably from the stress.

Also, it could be a sign that your pill isn't strong enough for you anymore and you may need to change prescriptions.  However, wait a few more months to see if starts happening consistently before worrying about that too much.

Good luck!

yes..I agree with JJ.  Even though a certain pill works well for you, a woman's body changes, and so do her hormones.  Before my son was born, I was on Alesse.  After he was born, I went back on the same pill and it totally freaked me out.
It could just be that your body is changing and you need a different pill.
