Although I agree with what has been posted, if you're concerned go ahead and see a doctor. On rare occasion, a doctor can help "remove" your hymen if it is abnormal and causing you distress. I don't know how old you are, but if you're worrying about this, then I think a general trip to the gynecologist couldn't hurt anyway. And if you're embarrassed about that or you don't want to bring it up with your parents (again, I have no idea how old you are), then you could always have your primary care physician take a look to make sure there's nothing abnormal.
When I first started using tampons, I found that they hurt very much. Make sure you're using them when the flow of your period is moderate or heavy. Also use the "light" ones first. And, finally-- I would make the mistake of not inserting them enough. It may sound silly, but if you have a tampon only halfway inside your vagina, it's not going to be comfortable. I would also definitely recommend investing in the plastic applicators (instead of cardboard). Make sure that the part where you put your fingers (the center) is inserted all the way into your vagina before you push the applicator. I found that made things a lot more comfortable!
Good luck!
Well try to relax and make sure you are inserting the tampon correctly. Very rarely would a hymen be a problem that it has to be looked at by a doctor. If you are relaxed and putting it in right, it should be fine. Just reread through the directions of how to use one and try again. good luck
First of all, are you a virgin? Because if not this problem should start to go once you've had sex once of twice. If your not a virgin then I believe that it's not your hymen causing the problem. Instead your vagina could just be 'tight'. Make sure when you use a tampon you are completely relaxed. And if his problem occurs during sex you should try a lubricant.
