Hey--I googled benadryl and pregnancy, and of course, it just says to contact your doctor if you are pregnant, before you take any medication.  It said that it had not been adequately studied.  That was on a few sites...so probably to be on the safe side, you should wait to hear from the doc.
However, it's been a while since I've been pregnant, so mslk may know something that I don't.

i seem to remember hearing that you can take benedryl while pregnant, but use sparingly.  benedryl also has a cream that might help.  good luck - hives are awful!

My DH and DD get hives BAD and we have a aloe vera plant and I use that with my daughter. Maybe that might help...?

Yes, you can take benedryl.  Sounds like a nasty allergic reaction to something.  Have you switched soaps or detergents recently?

I am 11 weeks pregnant and since day one of pregnancy I have been breaking out in hives. I talked to the doc about it and she came up with conclusion that I am allergic to fruit. Weird I am not allergic to anything else and never had any trouble before I was prego. I get them from head to toe (the ones between my toes are the worst) they keep me up at night. Will this go away after I have he baby?
