i think i might have had razor bumps for 2 years now?

by s_d123, Jun 12, 2007 12:00AM
i was looking for information on this site on bumps on the vagina and i read about ingrown hairs. i now do remember that one time i did shave down there and got some spots. they were itchy and white. i dont like having hair down there and frequently pluck them out when i think they are too long. could this also create ingrown hairs? they been there for so long now the bumps never seem to go away. they can be sore, and when i do pop them puss and blood comes out.  i dont know what to do. i have a boyfriend who i am intimate with and because of these spots, it has put a dampen on my confidence.  my discharge is also wierd aswell i get white marks on be knickers all the time and sometimes it comes out in a yellowy clot. it can smell at times and can look like white lumps of curddled milk or something. i don't know if i should see a doctor. i've made appt before and the nurse took a swab and saw that it was yellowish and the test came back clear . please help me!!! what could it be?

One thing they should be looking for is trichomoniasis, which can cause a profuse, smelly discharge.  Your partner should be treated as well.  Although this is a sexually transmitted virus, it is able to survive outside the body for unusually long times, and as such, some authorities think it can be transmitted through nonsexual contact (wet towels, locker rooms, perhaps even toilet seats) as well.  So don't automatically assume any infidelity if this is your diagnosis.
