ingrown hair for over a month?

about a month ago I noticed a bump on my female area, right below where I shave, directly next to my clit. I went to the doctor after it didn't go away for a few days and she said it was just an ingrown hair. it eventually popped and went down a little bit. but its still there and seems to be getting bigger again. any ideas on what's going on?

It sounds like it got infected maybe i would go back to the doctor and have them remove it and scrap it so that it wont come back
