ingrown hair?

Yesterday i notices a red bump on the outer edge of the lip of my vagina. I am worried it might be herpes. I was tested three months ago and was completely clean and i haven't slept with anyone except my boyfriend. I am lost here. I tried to pop as if it was a  pimple and blood came out but there is still a white center, and its tender now. I only have one of then i looked to make it was the only one. Could this just be an ingrown hair and i am freaking myself out over nothing, or should i go to my doctors. Please help im lost in my own thoughts.
