irregular periods

hi...
i ve been having irregular periods from the very beginning of maturity... i ve gone for different treatment and courses... during the course my periods would be regular, then it would get back to being irregular once the course is over... i ve got a scan as well and have no problem of cysts. the doctor suggested i have "amenova" tablets every month. it consists of nine tablets to be taken within a period of three days.... i would want to know if it is safe to eat those pills every month... and what other remedy could be thought of... i maintain a healthy diet with regular exercise.
