is it possible to ovulate why you are PMSing?

My girlfriend started PMSing on a saturday like normal. we had sex on thursday and she was suppose to get her period on sunday but hasn't, she is very irregular but typically can tell when her period is coming. She has been sick for the past couple of weeks before she started PMSing and has been very stressed out, could this effet her period, and could she be pregnant?

I'm sorry, but what exactly are you referring to when you say "PMS", like irritability and/or mood swings?  Because, just because a woman gets mad or irritable doesn't mean she's PMSing.  She could just be mad or having a bad day.  Did she tell you she was PMSing?  I usually PMS a couple of days before my period, not usually a whole week before, that kinda' sucks.  Even bloating and headaches could from something other than PMS.  I'd say go get a hpt and clear this up, especially if she's late.  PLEASE use protection from now on, stop putting yourself through this torture of not knowing.

If her periods are irregular and you have unprotected sex, then your odds of getting her pregnant are pretty high.  The reason being is that she doesn't know when she ovulates.  You may be having sex during her fertile days, which are the 5 days leading up to ovulation, and the day of ovulation itself.  She's just going to have to take an HPT to find out if she's pregnant or not.

Not to freak you out, but the symptoms of PMS are identical to the symptoms of pregnancy in the beginning.  Unless you are trying to make a baby, always use protection, especially if she is irregular.  Women can ovulate at any time in their cycle, sometimes twice.  Always err on the side of caution, and if she's late, it's time to buy a home pregnancy test.  Good luck!

didnt you post a bit back concerned about the same thing? just go splurge on a home pregnancy test and see what the results say. i dont know if you guys are trying or not but it seems as this has beeen weighing on your mind for a while now. if you two are not ready to bring a new life into this world then please just use protection all of the time until you are ready to have a little baby crying 24/7.
does she see a gynocologist each year? maybe its time to make an appt.?
