Thanks so much for your reply, the itch has reduced alot only a little itch now i just never had before so was a little concerned did use canasten cream which probably helped but i then got my period and it kind of stopped so im wondering is it due to period coming was very intense i also get uti alot and notice this niggling sting and seems to come more around period due, i didnt go to my physician, but i was told that too much sugar in the diet could cause this? I do like my sweet things, i always use nivea products so i will invest in antiseptic ones thank you and it could help for all bacteria around my bladder aswel maybe.  Thanks so much for your help.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Itchy vagina can be due to a number of causes. First of all it can be due to allergic reaction or contact dermatitis to your undergarments, sanitary napkins or tampons, soaps etc. There is no change in the colour or smell of discharge in this case.

Secondly, It can be due to STD’s but there is a change in the discharge in this case. You need to get it evaluated from your gynecologist.
Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove.Avoid any kind of cosmetics. For the itching take some antihistaminic like Benadryl
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
