just want to set the record straight---promise no drama

by rachelln, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
I just want to start off by telling you that i do still come here about twice a week just to read the comments. I have not posted in a while but i know a few of you are confused about a post from mrs jones. I am not mrs jones.

theres a big difference. I was a stay at home mom for 5 years and know how hard it is.

It does feel kinda good to know that I am not the only person out there that takes up for others though.

anyway this post is in know means to cause drama it happens here with or without me almost every day. I know some of you will also say it is suspisious that I came back after she left. But I promise I am not mrs jones.

It is funny how i haven't been on here in such a long time (posting) but my name still pops up every so often.

Feel free to use this as an open forum I just wanted to let you know i am not her so now you can go try to figure out who it is.

To: open forum indeed!
I agree...this would make a great open forum!! No, rachelln- not suspicious at all, not in the least! Good for you for keeping up your reading here. I would hate to mistake a quality person like you for someone who is not up to your standard.

Has anyone ever cooked a turkey in a brown paperbag in the oven??

by cable4me2007, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
Well, that clears that right up.  Since no one could possibly lie on MH, your post MUST be true.

Except that before you got tripped up and had to reveal that you were Casey, you denied that Rachelln was Casey.  (Everyone knew, anyway just for your information--from the start)

Here's some spelling tips: "anyway this post is by know means to cause drama"----know should be no, and suspisious is spelled suspicious.

I am going to start correcting spelling, grammar, punctutation, and hand out grades from now on.  Until I lose interest.  Which will be soon, probably.

Before you catch me...paper bag is two words. Sorry. (puts hand out to be slapped)

My post and all those responses were deleted.  How nice, Medhelp!

You will be busy then....my posts are horrific!

Where's all the beauty advice I gave out on Thanksgiving????

by rachelln, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
How sad, you are going to start drama agian. Dam* I thought I would be able to come back and be accepted. My feelings are so hurt.

WHO_DIS----thanks for the corrections. I never knew that I would learn how to spell on a womens medical forum. Why did I ever leave???

by mslkpage, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
We're just trying to help you, Christy.

Happy belated Thanksgiving to you and yours.

So you think you have me figured out? Why are you so mad?

by mslkpage, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
Once again...I'm not mad. I was smiling earlier when I posted to you, and I'm smiling now. See...:) ?

by kenziesmom, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
To: rachelln
Do you realize how dumb you look by saying mslkpage is so mad?  What about her calm, cool, collected responses says mad to you?  And it's mslkpage, not mlskpage; learn how to copy and paste if spelling doesn't work for you PLEASE.

by PGB, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
Nice day out today, isn't it ladies?  I personally am POOPED!!!  I am getting too old to play basketball with 7 and 9 year old boys!

Please don't check my spelling!  I don't want to have to get the dictionary out.  I'm already slow on my typing!

by rachelln, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
OOHH, thank you. Every one is a better person when there smiling. For a minute there I thought you were upset about the nursery. I do not put out your personal info ( that i learned on the nursery) I apperciate it if you would do the same.

HUM, I don't think we have ever met? I mean shouldn't we interduce ourselves since we our in each others business?

by sk2006a, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
To: rachelln
surely you didn't say that with a straight face

by mslkpage, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
Now, now now, that almost sounds like a threat, doesn't it? Go for it if it makes you feel big. The Nursery doesn't exist anymore, so I really don't give a frock.

"Every one is a better person when there smiling"

Should be:

...better person when they are (or alternatively, they're) smiling.

"There" is a location or a direction.  "They're" is the contraction of "they are".

Happy to be of service.  I won't be too harsh, I promise.

by cable4me2007, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
To: rach
interduce

Should be:

introduce

by cable4me2007, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
To: rach
apperciate

should be:

appreciate

by rachelln, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
sk2006- Say what with a straight face?

mlskpage--you were the one who put out my personal info. I was just saying I would apperciate it if you wouldn't since I am not doing it to you. There was no threat. You find the worst of every situation.

correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't it be "in each other's business" rather than "others"?

by mslkpage, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
To: rachelln
Oops! Sorry...I misunderstood.

Hey everyone!!! My first name is LISA!! Whoopee!! Feel free to address your posts to me that way...God, I hope I didn't give too much away!

by kenziesmom, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
It's "ARE in each other's business", not our.  And what did pgb ever do to you, anyways?
I just reread the comment again; INTERDUCE is not a word; I think you may be pronouncing it wrong- maybe that's why you spell it that way.
P.S.  Have you seen my friend, Mrs. Jones?  I miss her.

by PGB, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
Well, that was actually an honest mistake on my part, I posted on the wrong thread.  So so sorry, didn't mean to be in your "BUSINESS".

However, I think we did meet, in the previous thread that has already been deleted.  Now, I will bow out of your "BUSINESS" and move on to the thread I meant to post on.

Have a nice evening ladies.

i cooked a roast once in one of those plastic cooking bags, but i haven't used the brown bags.  i think i'd rather try to brown bag.....the plastic bag made me worry about chemical fumes.

Of course you shouldn't be afraid of good spellers!  Spelling well is not intimidating at all, nor is it difficult!  I just want you to learn and grow, that's all.

Crusty sure has been gone for a long time.  But somebody else, who shall remain anonymous, that doesn't want to start any drama, sure did come on right when Crusty left.  Oh dear, I wonder if we can figure out where she went...

Crusty Cable Girl; are you proud of anonymous spelled correctly?

I heard this wonderful recipe on the radio, but I don't know anyone that's actually tried it. My inlaws are coming over tonight, so I'll let you know how the brown bag turkey goes.

No, don't believe I have ever tried to cook a turkey that way.  Do you think that would help keep it moist?  Mine are always so dry!

by sk2006a, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM

thanks!  i love the idea of easy clean-up :)

Yes, it's supposed to keep it very moist, but this is my first time trying. I figured I'd try it out on the inlaws! I will report back.

To: The brown bag turkey
My sister tried it once, and said that the bag got sort of burned or singed at the creases, and it made her house smell like burned paper, sort of.

But I have no other specifics on it for you.

by 2_sweet, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
To: cable
Sounds like it's time for another "experiment"!!!  :-)

by mslkpage, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
To: cable
****. I have an appropriately sized drip pan, so I thought I could avoid the burning smell and whatnot. Also, I sprinkled water on top of the bag to allow steam to come through.

Hmm...well, it's been in almost 2 hours now, so it's too late to turn back now.

Next turkey report in 1 hour.

by mslkpage, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
You know what I just realized? I typed C-R-A-P earlier, and it got ***'d out! **** **** ****

first one capitalized, second one not, third in all caps.

by 2_sweet, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
Awesome!!  Experiment is underway!!!

by mslkpage, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
And the **** mystery is solved. You can start a sentence by just capializing it, but if you put it in the middle, you have to write it in all caps.

by mslkpage, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
Damn! I wrote it in all caps above, and it got ****'d out!! I don't get it!

by kenziesmom, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
Where did our girl, Chillin with Rachelln go?  I'm sure she would like to get in on the experiment.

by PGB, Nov 25, 2006 12:00AM
And here I thought I had made a new friend!  Now she left!  Wonder why?
