I've been experiencing what seems to be pain in my right kidney and also a lot of abdominal pain and often feel nausea. Does anybody know what this could be?

Not always.  I suffer from chronic kidney infections and I never have any painful burning or urination problems.  I always get the lower back pain and go in to my doctor.  Everyone is different though.  Good luck.

Don't you usually get a UTI along with or before a kidney infection? I haven't experienced any UTI symptoms
