labia majora swelling

I recently noticed swelling/buldge just below my left labia majora- it's toward the rear of the lip. It's slightly tender. There is no itching or any other problems with it. Should I be concerned or just address it at my next exam -6 months away?

i think if the swelling does not come down after a day you should go see a gyn but it could be an allergic reaction to soap, detergent, perfum...
