This may sound odd, but do you feel any tingling or numbness in your ring & pinky fingers? Somewhat like when you hit your funny bone. The ulnar nerve goes from your neck down your arm, and passes through your elbow down to your outer two fingers, & can definitely cause the problems you are talking about.
Hi Pookie no I'm not the only one who answers posts on this forum. There are several others too.Who are way smarter than me.Take Care TNT406.
no sweling. except around my left thumb, kind of near the palm, sometimes its real swollen, other times not so much. Never thought to have elbow checked out as possible cause...always related it to my shoulder, till hubby asked me if I thought it could be because I lean on that side alott. Gonna have it looked into...
Thanks
ps, are you the only one who answers questions on this board lol
Hi Pookie yes it might have caused some kind of damage. When you are leaning on your elbow you are putting your body weight on it.It can cause inflamation around the muscle and tendons.Do you have any swelling in your arm?You all so might have have developed artritis in it,with your previous heart attack it could be possible.Check this out with your doctor and cardiologist. They might take an x-ray of your arm and elbow to get a good look. The only way you will know is to go to your doctor.Make an appointment for tomorrow, and get it checked out.Take Care Pookie.REMEMBER GOD LOVES YOU.TNT406.
