my ovulation cycle (on 13th day from the first day of my period)
It seems to start on the 13th or 14th day and lasts a day or two
and is very painful...HELP...I am very nervous and worried.
Is this normal? I would like to know if other women are
also experiencing this on the 13th/14th day after their
period. PLEASE GET BACK TO ME IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING THIS
AS WELL..SO I NOW THAT I AM NOT ALONE...

Back pain can mean alot of different things. But if it's in sync with your cycle then it can mean that you are having some type of a uterine contraction. Also you could have an ovarian cyct that has gotten large and has displaced some of the fluid (I can't remember what it's called). That can cause back pain. I would just go to the doc and get a u/s to see what is causing it.
I am 42 and for my last three cycles have had severe back pain around the lower back area at the time of ovulation. I have some other symptom which reflect that I may be starting to menopause... is this back ache another sign of this?
Until I found this website, I hadn't considered that this ache may signify something more sinister like endometriosis or cysts- I'll be doing some more research and will definately ask my GP!
