menstrual cups ???

I know they're not widely popular but I was wonderinf if any of you have used them before ? After a ton of research I ordered the moon cup UK yesterday and am really excited about never having to worry about having tampons when I start my period ! Of course it'll probably be weird if I have girl friends come over and they need a tampon and I don't have any.... anyways , what are your guys' thoughts on menstrual cups ?!!?

I used a disposable one called Instead Softcup. It worked pretty well, but there was a learning curve to get used to putting it in and taking it out. And I wouldn't recommend it for women who have a really heavy flow because accidents are possible and super ultra embarrassing. But if you have a normal flow, it can be a good alternative to tampons or pads once you get used to it.

I love my moon cup! So much easier and cheaper! Use a liner till you get used to it.
