No its been happening every day since my period started. And the day it ended I was still having problems, I am 47.

I'm having the same problem. I have brown spotting about 5-10 days after my period. This past period I had very bad cramps too. I have an appt with my dr on Oct. 16. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative, so that can't be the reason. I'm interested in finding out. My problem just started 3 cycles ago. I had a m/c in March and D&C performed and thought maybe it was happening b/c my body was different, but I think that would have happened sooner than now.

It is like I still have my period butI don't. Hard to explain, just seems like it still there but its brown. Scary!

Anybleeding for a long time needs to be checked out by the doc. It can be a hormonal change, fibroids, endometriosis or a ruptured cyst. It just happened to me and now they are suggesting progesteron. Anyway get it checked out.
