messed up cycle or pregnant?

i started my period 2 weeks early and it lasted for about a week. I then started spotting for a week. Towards the end of the week it was very light, like only when i wipe, nothing on the panties. I'm supposed to start in 2 days, and i started spotting again today. What can this possibly mean?

If you start your period then your not pregnant however alot of women bleed during pregnancy and that might be mistaken for a period your chances of pregnancy depend on your birth control which can also mess up your cycle and cause spotting you can take a pregnancy test now or you can wait two days and either way you should have a accurate result by now

yes i do have unprotected sex. i'm also on birthcontrol that's why it's confusing me because my period is seriously like clock work! when should i take a pregnancy test? i'm supposed to start today or tomrrow, if i still start should i still take one? or will that indicate that i'm definitely not preg.?

hard to say if your having unprotected sex you could be pregnant if not lots of  other things can cause your period to be early and some spotting like vaginal infections or stress you should take a pregnancy test that way you'll know if your bleeding is pregnancy related or something else
