I had my tubes tied 2 years ago during my c section. I'm a mother of 8 and now I feel pregnant again. My breast hurt, always sleepy, dizzy, craving, period 1 week late, bloated, cramping, head aches, lower back pain, and really bad mood swings. In my other pregnancies I never had morning sickness. I took 7 tests and all were neg. Could I be pregnant?

tieing of the tubes is not a permanent thing, unless they are also cut and sutured, and then there is not guarantee that you wont get pregnant anyway. Your ovaries do not actually connect to your fallopian tubes, they actually float free of them and little fibers are supposed to grab the egg and guide it down to your uterus... if you are pregnant it may be a tubal pregnancy, which is what they call anything that lies outside of the uterus. Or, if its not tubal, it may be that the sutures came undone and the egg simply found its way down to the opened tube, and met its way to your uterus. either way, let us remember that the ONLY sure way to not get pregnant is either refraining from sex totally, or getting a complete hysterectomy, which would remove the ovaries as well.

Either way, pregnant or not, you should probably get in touch with your Gyn. If you are pregnant then you want it known as soon as possible in order to insure it isn't in the tubes which I'm sure they told you can happen after getting your tubes tied. We chose the vasectomy route after 5 kids because of that. And if you aren't pregnant then you need to find out what's going on. So either way, you should probably just get in to see your doc. I hope you get your answers very soon and feel better!

So that would mean that you're almost 18 days late???
Have you taken any medications or anything different...been under lots of stress??? Stress can wreak havoc on your body.
Just wondering.  If I were you I'd take another test.

Ok not to scare you but my brother and his wife has 5 kids.  she just had the 5th one about 7 months ago and immediately got her tubes tied.  she missed her period last month to only find out that she is PREGNANT again.  So get it checked out immediately cause it can happen.  I was freaked out 2 days ago when they told me!!  Lord knows they don't need anymore lol!!!!  But that's what the lord blesses us with.  he is not going to give you more than you can bare!!  GOOD LUCK!!!

you said you missed your period "this month" but we still have 2 weeks left in december. when were you due to get it? sounds like symptoms of it coming. period symptoms and pregnancy symptoms are quite similiar. if you had your tubes tied i would be pretty confident that you are not pregnant. probably aunt flo on her way for her monthly visit.
