what kind of cyst is it?? Funtional cysts are very common and everyone women gets them we get them when we ovulate and they go away on their own.. but there are many types of cysts depending on what type of cyst is will determine what needs to be done.. but i've known several women who've had to go in and have a cyst removed and still had children.. remember you have 2 ovaries so even if one is lost there is still another one that is hopefully firing eggs off...

Good luck and i wouldn't worry so much until you find out for sure what kind of cyst it is and what your doctor thinks would be best as to treating it.
