my periods are late

my periods are just over a week late.. i have irregular periods that are one or two days late but rarely have periods that are this late, i've never had sex before and i'm wandering if exercise changes your period pattern because i haven't done much exercise all year besides last month and my periods are late

also i know this may sound really silly but i'm getting pretty worried..is it possible for someone to be raped in their sleep and not know?.. or would you feel something? i know it sounds far fetch but i'm also curious

i just wanted to ask you if you really did have sex (either willing OR unwilling) but afraid to "admit" it even to yourself. did a guy force you? i am only asking this because of your question about being raped in your sleep. it sounds like something more may have happened. you would know 100% if you were being raped. sleep or no sleep. i almost get the feeling you did have sex but you did not want to and now regret it fully.
sorry if i got it all wrong.

How old are you? Lots of things in life can make your cycle change. Have you started hanging out with new female friends? Your cycle will start to sync up with theirs and make it later than usual. Weather changes can alter your cycle. So can exercise. I wouldn't worry about it - stuff like that happens to everyone.

And, to put your mind at rest, if you are a virgin and someone raped you in your sleep (god forbid) you most certainly, absolutely would know!

I'm sorry I didnt notice you haven't had sex before. you can disregard my comment about the body temperature thing!! it is used as a method of birth control....but also lets you know when you are ovulating and when you will get your period.

you say you haven't had sex, so you should be in the free and clear as far as pregnancy goes. you are also not on the birth control pill which would regulate your periods. I'd say this is normal. your body is probably just responding to changes, ie. excerising, and also the change of season.
as far as being raped in your sleep. I don't think it could happen. rape is just that, rape. it is violent and painful, and unless you are a very sound sleeper, you couldnt sleep through something like that. even if it was sex, I highly doubt you would sleep through it.
I understand why you are worried, but I don't think you need to be. You just have irregular periods. Maybe look in to basal body temperature, to create more awareness within yourself.
