I use the Evra patch and it said you can either start on the first day of your period or the first Sunday after your period. I rarely get my period so I was waiting for about a year to use them until I just put it on and said whatever! who knows when I'm going to get my period. It doesn't take a month to start working, the information package that comes with the patch said if you start the sunday after use contraceptives for a week. so, Your period already ended 5 days ago which means the sunday after already past right? That's okay. Just start the next sunday on November 7th.
you wouldnt be safe anyways it takes like a month or more to actual start working
you two want to be safe use condoms for the time being
