nipple sensitivitiy

uhm..im not on any type of birth control and havent been for about a month..my nipples are sensitive to the touch. just the very tip..they seem irritated and swollen also..does anyone know whats wrong with me?

Could you be pregnant?
It also could be your body trying to adjust to getting off the birth control.
