no sex for me?

by jasmine1616, Jun 15, 2007 12:00AM
I'm currently using a non-hormonal IUD for birth control. My boyfriend and I have a long distance relationship right now, and the week I get to see him this summer is the week of my period. I still have some packages of birth control from earlier this year when I was on oral contraceptives. Would it be okay to start the first package on the day he came - not as a method of birth control but as a way of postponing my period? Would I get break-through bleeding anyway?

Thanks.

I would ask your doctor if it's ok to use both. Make sure they don't interact with eachother
