nuva ring

by jersey lady, Aug 12, 2006 12:00AM
I started the nuva ring the day i started spotting. (about the 25th to the 28th day of my cycle. I should have had my period withing the week but I'm still waiting. Can the nuva ring stop your period the first time you use it? I have not been on birth control for years but I have had a regular cycle every month. Has anyone else every experienced this?

I haven't had issues like that so far ( I just started too) But I'll tell you what everyone else is going to tell you. If you're pretty healthy you could wait it out. The first month is pretty crazy. I've had break through bleeding this whole time so far. It takes time for you body to get used to this stuff. And if you are truly worried, call your doctor. But remeber each woman is different.
