I left my nuvaring in for 4 weeks and BF and I took it out to have sex and  accidently left it out for 7 hours. I didn't have a new one so reinserted the old one and replace w a new one 3 days later. Was I protected?

you can only have it out for 3 hours. if its out for more than 4 hours you are not protected against pregnancy until you reinstert it and have it in for 7 days straight.

I was told that you can only leave it out for 3 hours.  You might still be protected but I would use a back up method for the rest of the month.  If your worried about pregnancy call your doctor and get Plan B.
