one sore breast, i'm worried please help!

i am 10 days into my menstrual cycle.  yesterday my right breast became sore and tender (behind the nipple area).  is it normal to have breast pain this early into the menstural cycle?  my cycles are usually every 26 days...  i am 35 yrs old, not on birth control pills and not pregnant.  what could this be??

hmmm it could be that your body is changing. i personally have had 7day periods for a long time. when i got on birth control pills my periods were cut down to 3 days. i would suggest going to your personal physician and asking them whats going on. if you are not pregnant and don't plan on getting pregnant i would suggest getting back on the pill. its a good way to regulate your periods.

i should have said this better...  my period ended 5 days ago and i am 10 days since the first day of my last period.
