sorry about this i know it has nothing to do with the womensWomens pack' health but i just want to share with you that we just had one horriable earthquake in trinidad....it was one of the biggest we ever had in our small island, my pc was shaking while i was typing & our draws were opening(i went under the table & my friend sat scared she wouldn't move).....my stomach is still in a not....my co worker said she would have jumped out of the window like the people from the world trade centre, my mind just went to that incedent & i thank God it wasn't worst than what we see on TV....:(...one lady ran out of the male bathroom(don't ask me what she was doing in there)......how did you guys deal with situations like that if it has happened to you before????
Hey girl I'm glad your ok. I was wondering about you the other day. Wow what a day. Does wk shut down when an earthquake happens? Just wondered. Is your man ok? Have yall been having mini ones since it happened?
thanks for asking ladies....but everyone is just shanken up....some of our buildings got damaged....i was wondering if our house was ok.....& no work didn't shut down they don't do that here......but thank god everyones ok...so far that's the news i've heard it was a (6.8), bad enough for us.....we don't get hurricanes either but still being hopful we never do that god i said my prayers before i left for work..
Islandprincess, I didn't want to ask this question on someone else's thread so I will respond to you on yours. Why are you still ttc? Didn't you say last time that your bf was getting on your nerves and you really couldn't take it anymore. What's the deal? Why would you still be trying to have a baby with someone who you don't know if you want to be with? Don't you think that's it is a little confusing. I'm not trying to be mean it's just that I can't understand where you're coming from.
WOW!!! I pray that you can get through these acts of nature untouched. I live in FL and have experienced my share of hurricanes and I know it's scary because it's nothing you can control...so in times like this you need to pray. God Bless!
Hope land isn't too expensive, but as pretty as the pics are where your from I'd think it would be LOL Here w/ the cows everywhere land is pretty high :) but it's pretty here too, but it's no island :)
As far as me well I'm in the nesting zone, I've cleaned out 3 closets (made room for baby on the way) & finished my DS#1 scrapbook up & I've been getting rid of toys (we have too many) :) I think I've made my lower back hurt by all the cleaning out I've done:) I'll be 29wk SUN time is moving on. Ican't believe I've been in the nesting mood so early this time I've even put the bouncey seat together & dug the car seat out of the closet :) LOL Dh still likes Jordan Isaiah for our babys name :)
I guess since you were looking for land then yall are thinking of building, if so maybe you can get all the painting done before a baby is on the way, then again the baby could get you out of painting:) LOL (We painted our house ourself when we bbuilt, I hate painting)
Here if you sub-contract (meaning you line up the guys for the framework, plumbing, roofing, & so on yourself) you save thousands, instead of paying a contractor thousands to call these guys up for you to do the work. We saved soooo much $$$$$$. Maybe you can do this over there. It's sooo worth it especially when you think of all the interest, you can save anywhere from $15,000.00-$25,000.00 or even more depending on how much your house costs! Say NO to contractors!!!!!LOL :)
oh yes darling we are saying no to contractors, his football team & brothers could help us as well as my cousins & brother...we could do most of the work ourself....i love painting. so maybe the baby mighten hold me back...lol...the most expensive stuff would be the bricks & stuff.....we got the land for a really great deal it was his sister's mother-in-law's land....(you see some Mother in laws are good)......lol
thanks to everybody for praying for our island....everyone is still shocked about it but hoping nothing worst happens this one was a (6.0) the worst for us......one person died & two houses were broken down to the ground....., venezuela got it to...but i'm ok now..:)
his gift: no darling no minis....my AF came Tuesday so i got it twice in one month....yuck & it's heavyer than normal, trying to hold back the tears cuz i thought i was over the last time, but i guess not...but fiance has been such a good sport he cooked for me & keeps trying to make me feel much better about myself (such a darling)we got great news that we're going to finally get to buy our land very soon we're going to check it out this weekend how you doing????
