Just been told i have a 11cm cyst on my right ovaries and they have found blood. waiting to see a gynecolgist. has anyone experinced this? and what treatment im i likly to have? i am 42 years old.
Definitely follow up with the gyno and don't be surprised if they want to do surgery. It would be to your benefit. If you have more questions, you can also post over on the ovarian cyst forum. There's a lot of women that have gone through what you're facing right now.
If you're concerned about it being malignant, remember, 95% of ovarian cysts are benign. I had a 10 cm cyst removed in Feb. and everything checked out fine. And I'm menopausal which means the odds are a little less in my favor.
