Hi.  Just a few questions...what was the reason you had a partial hysto?  And, did your GYN find your cysts?  We do get cysts each month during ovulation but I would think that they would alternate, like our ovaries do, each month.  That would explain one cyst but not the other, unless it was there from the previous month.  Does your pain vary from side to side?  It is normal to feel something but if it gets worse and prolonged then I would check it out.  Also, if you have a history of endometriosis it would be a good idea to ask your GYN to do a vaginal ultrasound.  Endometriomas can form and they usually don't just go away.

Thirty-one is young to have had a partial hysto.  You have every right to be concerned and should ask your GYN about it.

Good luck!

Sorry to hear about you pain, i to have cysts from time to time and they hurt like hell, they last time one started leaking fluid, and hurt worse, so went to doctor, he said that they will leak from time to time,  he also said that the cysts come and go like your body sheds them them they come back, they shrink get bigger etc etc but unless one gets massive and haft to be removed  it is what it is.  just try and take it easy it took a month fir the one to heal after it leaked fluid, but now no more pain,   I was wonder how your hys went, my doc wants to do one on me, im 25 and have pain with sex almost everytime, yea me...  wants to do a partial and leave ovaries only, but i scared to death,  how was your experience? sorry to high jack your post,  any comments welcomed Emily
