ovarian pains

I'm a 25 year old caucasion who had two pregnancies and normal periods always, i have been on depro shot, birth control pills and most recently the nuva ring. I am now off all medications and have been trying to get pregnant again. I have been off the medications for over 4mths and the past month i have had severe ovarian pain and  after each time my partner and I have intercourse i bleed as if it was a period, I get my period the 1st of every month and it usually ends by the 7th if not before. So i assumed the pain on my ovaries was being caused by ovualation, but i'm uncertain about the bleeding that only happens because of intercourse, my partner is not large nor do i experience discomfort or tenderness during intercourse, The pain does seem to get a little worse after intercourse and the bleeding may continue for days. Im concerned and have been to the GYNO recently and my paps have come back normal, though my last pap was around 6mths or so ago.

It sounds like you have ovarian cysts.  They often cause pain during sex and before or after your period.  I would definitely get it checked out.  They are usually not dangerous, but in a few cases can have serious complications.  They wont find it on a pap- they need  to palpitate the ovaries and do an ultrasound to find them.  Hope this helps!
