If you are taking it for something like chronic pain your doctor may switch you to something he feels is safe or adjust your doseage. It super important to take care of this right away. I know sometimes doctors will prescribe pain meds while pregnant, I've heard that it can be more stressful for the baby and mother not to take medications than if you did.
