painful area still 5mths after ovary removal!

by dalip, Apr 24, 2007 12:00AM
Hi
I had my ovaries removed in nov 06,with a horizontal inscision(sp). The left side has always been tender(the bowel was stuck to the ovary,as was the bladder),at my post op app my gp said if the pain continued they may have to do a ultrasound to see if anything is amiss.Well it's now 5mths and it is still tender to touch.Does not hurt when i lift, walk bend or anything like that but if i touch the area or accidently knock it, then i know about it.Any ideas or anybody experianced this i would like to hear about it.I did not post on the ovc forum as i fell there are a lot more ladies in need of advice for more serious things than this. I know i will have to go back to gp eventually but at the minute i just keep leaving it hoping it will eventually go away!Any feedback welcome.Dawn
