painful iching redness and swellen

ive been having a painfull itch and swellen and at first i was thinking that it was just a yeast infection but it keeps comming back after sex it hurts its really messing with me every day i cant even sleep at night do i have anything to worry about is this herpes without the sores ?

could be a yeast infection....they don't go away on their own and have to be treated. sometimes you can get itchy from your own discharge...especially after sex. last month i thought i would itch myself raw and it was awful. i went to the doc and had no infection. i went to the store and got vagisil wipes and the itch was gone in 2 days. the doc said i was having a reaction to my own discharge and that was normal from time to time. if it is a yeast infection or vaginitis you need to be seen by a physicial to be prescribed an antibiotic or antifungal cream. if it isn't an infection....after you have seen a doc....than try those wipes....they worked for me. good luck and i know how awful it feels!!!

Sounds like maybe Clamydia (chlamydia)(sp), which is also treatable. See your doc. No sense in suffering if you don't have to.
