I have had these under arms lumps for about nine months now.  I went to the doctors and she was not alarm.  One day I had one on my breast and called in for an appoint.  I was seen by another doctor with the assistant of my regular because of her schedule appointments.  He gave me some antibiotics to take for 10 days.  It cleared up for about two months now it back.  I am not sure if it was the antibiotics or me switching my deodorant to something I got from the Health Food store with no lanilon or chemical stuff.
My nodes are painful and tmatures in approximately 7 to 10 days then I am able to burst it to remove the inflammation and the pain is gone.
Sometimes I treat it with an ointment I got from melaleucua and that tend to dry it up or slow the growth.  The only real satisfaction is to let it mature and remove the inflamation inside.  Also, I change my soap to nutrigena.  The medication seems to clean the body better.

I have a painful lump in my under arm as well.  I have had it for a year or so.  It goes on and off for which days it hurts the worse.  I don't know what it is.  I showed it to my doctor, but she didn't know what to think of it.  What could it be?

I had a pinful lump under my arm and it turned out to be a a clogged sweat gland.  But I never had the sore breast.  Any under arm lumps should immediately be checked out to ensure it is not a lymph node.  I would see your doctor immediately and get this evaluated!
