period/browncharges

hello i have been havin a period for 4 months now i well i have brown discharge than it started a period it jus been bleeding forever wont go away 4 months bleeding and brown discharge my dr tell me it normal cuz i havent had one in so long sometimesi go 6 monts or so without one cuz i have PCOS it finally stopped 3 days ago now the brown discharge is back help what wrong with me my dr tell me i am fine but i dont think it normal to have a period for 4 month sometimes it jus brown sometimes it jus spotting sometimes it heavey it all jus seems to be diff everyday.
