Call your doctor about the results of your blood tests. Did she order a complete blood count? I you are losing a lot of blood, your hemoglobin and hematocrit may be very low...if they are too low you might need a transfusion. In the meantime you can increase your intake of iron. Iron supplements can help, take with orange juice (Vitamin C increases absorption of iron)...do not take with calcium or ingest calcium 1 hour after or 2 hours before you take your iron (calcium interferes with iron).

Iron is a good thing for anemia in most cases, unless it's anemia caused by vitamin-B deficiency.  Did your doctor test you for anemia when she did the lab work?  If so, did it come back saying you were anemic?  Call your doctor and find out.  Also find out what type of iron she would recommend for you.  Be warned that iron can cause nausea in some people, but there are different types from what I gathered when I was anemic.  However, it's good to at least let your doctor know that you are taking iron so she can do blood work on occasion to make sure you don't get too much iron in your system because that can be bad news, too.

Take iron.  While the doctor is figuring out your situation, you could at least build your iron supply back up.
