periods and breastfeeding

well im going on 7 days late now, i think, ive been breastfeeding for 12 months and had a period everymonth, but since i got my iud removed jan 12, i bleed for two days after it was removed, and now nothing, can you have normal periods everymonth and then they just stop? a friend of mine says its bc im still nursing, but ive been nursing for a year and never had this happin, im definatly not pregnant,

i can imagine if i were strictly bf for a year with no period, but ive recently stopped and only nurse at night, could this jack my cycle up?

After I had my IUD taken out it took 5 weeks to get my period back. My Dr. told me that sometimes when you mess with things up there it could throw off your period. I doubt that it has anything to do with you breastfeeding sinse you have been nursing for so long. I would wait a little while and if you don't get your period back go in and see your Dr. to make sure everything is ok.

i think ill make an appointment this week, its weird tho, i ovulated last month exaclty 14 days after af, so i assumed that my cycle would be back to normal thanks
