periods

Laat month my period lasted for 24 days from 17th dec 2012 to 8th jan 2013. Then i got periods on 2 feb 2013 to 11 feb. I had sex with my husband on 12 feb and 16th feb. Again i got periods on 17 feb. I dont know whats wrong. Please help me. Usually I have regular periods.

Hello,
You seem to be having the symptoms of menometrorrhagia. Various factors causing it are endometriosis, ectopic pregnancy, hormone imbalance, endometrial hyperplasia, polyps, use of IUD’s and depo shots, sexually transmitted diseases, PCOS and benign and malignant pathologies of the uterus.I would advise an gynecologist’s evaluation and an ultrasound uterus to ruled out the above possibilities.
