placenta previa... chance to merge

HI THERE. I AM IN MY 21 WEEK. I HAD AN ULTRASOUND TWO DAYS AGO AND I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH PLACENTA PREVIA(TOTAL) NO BLEEDING THOUGH. DOCTOR SAID THAT PLACENTA WILL PROBABLY MERGE LATER AS THE BELLY EXPANDES. I AM REALLY SCARED.iT MIGHT SOUND FUNNY BUT IS ANYTHING YOU DO TO HELP THE PLACENTA MOVING TOWARDS THE TOP OF THE UTERUS
THANKS A LOT

No they didn`t put me in bed rest, because it was no bleeding i guess. I was thinking about putting my self in bed rest :). I thing bed rest it`s the only option for the placenta to move from the cervix. I guess i have to stop working. I dont really know what else should I do!!! All i want to do is  what is the best for both my baby and I. This is my first baby and I am so confused about all this. I hope everything turns out to be OK

in my 16th week, my doctor said placenta previa was a possiblilty, and i had some spotting, but it worked its way to the top of the uterus in about 6 weeks, did they put you on bed rest?

Here's a very hopeful article - apparently,  about 90% of complete placenta previas diagnosed in the second trimester will resolve themselves.

That's pretty good odds!!  Keep up the positive thoughts.  Prayers for your baby -
