please help- can you ovulate while still bleeding

my husband and i are desperately trying to get pregnant. after about a year of trying my doctor put me on provera and clomid. this is the 1st month I have taken it. I took provera for 7 days and then on the 9th day which was 6-27 I started my period and I thought my period was stopping but my husband and I had sex last night and then I starting bleeding again so now I have been bleeding for 9 days. I took clomid for 5 days starting the 2nd day of my period as instructed but my period does not seem like it is going to stop. I bought ovulation test strips and so my doctor says I should start ovulating around the 14 day because of clomid but I think I will still be bleeding. Does anyone Know if I can still ovulate even though I am bleeding or is it impossible to ovulate if I am bleeding. I called my doctor on the 8th day I took provera because I hadnt started my period and she told not to worry it will work out and she is confident with these medications I will ovulate and get pregnant. I am just not sure. Does anyone know if is possible to ovulate if still bleeding. Anyone who has any comments would so greatly be appreciated. We want a child so bad and I dont know if this is normal- I feel like I am going crazy

I would like to no the same thing?? My doctor also prescribed Clyomid, but I can't start it until I actually start; however, I was going for like days at a time and then it stopped the day that medicine was prescribed. First I want it to stop now I want it to stop. Please right back if you find out the answer.

I would call the doctor about the period that won't stop.  Good luck!
